Our Cancellation & Refund Policies

Our refund and cancellation policies are specific to each individual class, course, product or membership we offer. Please see the refund policy in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS during the checkout process for details.


Why such strict cancellation policies? Our classes are very small by design, they often fill up, and we plan teacher schedules based on registration #'s, all to give the students the best experience possible. If you were to sign up for a class and then ask for a refund/credit last minute (or after the class starts) we'd lose the ability to sell that spot. If we were selling $500 crystal figurines, it would be like knocking that one off the shelf never to be sold again.


We understand life happens, but we need to be able to keep the classes viable and offer the best teachers possible. Make sure you understand the cancellations/refunds/credit policies before you sign up for a class!




Here are some general guidelines below.

Our WEEKLY classes (6, 8, 10 week sessions, etc.):

  • If you cancel MORE than 10 calendar days before the first class date, the class fee is refundable MINUS a $25 service fee.
  • If you cancel between 10 days and 48 hours before the first class date, the class fee will be refunded MINUS a $150 service fee.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before class starts there are NO REFUNDS - NO CREDITS
  • If you cancel after the class has begun, there are NO REFUNDS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS - NO CREDITS

TUITION IS NON-TRANSFERRABLE. (Meaning you can't transfer it to another person, and you can't transfer YOUR registration to a future class session!)

Makeups for missed classes:

For in-studio classes, a student may makeup up to TWO missed classes depending upon availability of a suitable make-up date. Makeups must be completed within a year of the initial class.


For online classes, there are no makeups for missed class dates. You will still be allowed to submit any homework for review, and watch recordings of the missed class(es) if available. Missing homework submissions must be made before the final week of class.

Our Self-Paced, Asynchronous, or Flex-Coached Courses:

There are NO REFUNDS on purchases once the course content has been accessed. If you have purchased a course and wish to cancel before you have logged in to the course platform, there will be a $50 cancellation fee.


TUITION IS NON-TRANSFERRABLE. (Meaning you can't transfer it to another person)


We want you to be happy with your course experience (and fully believe in the value of our courses!). If you have worked through all of the course material, submitted all of the assignments, attended the included live-office hours (if any), and gave the course work your best effort and still feel that the material did not live up to your expectations, please reach out to us and we will see what we can do. This is by no means a guarantee, but talk with us! These types of classes require some level of self-motivation and we are unable to offer refunds to people who have not fully engaged in the work.

Workshops

There are no makeups for missed Workshops

Memberships

There are NO REFUNDS on memberships purchased. 

By purchasing a Monthly Subscription, MEMBER agrees that the MEMBERSHIP has an initial and automatic recurring monthly payment. MEMBER may cancel at anytime. 


To cancel the MEMBERSHIP, the MEMBER is required to: 

  • Login to their account at thegreenroomstudio.tv and cancel their subscription in the billing settings, or
  • email us at info@thegreenroomstudio.tv

After MEMBER cancels MEMBERSHIP, the MEMBER has access to the MEMBERSHIP until the end of the currently paid for payment period.
